    The Cork LGBT Pride FAMILY FUN DAY

    From: 12 Noon – 6:00pm at Fitzgerald's Park

    Join us as we launch this year’s Cork LGBT Pride Festival with a fabulous afternoon of family fun, rainbow festivities, doggy devilery and activities to delight the young, the old, the tame and the bold, from a sensational line up of live music with Phil and the Blanks, The Gypsy Fish Band and a kiddies disco courtesy of the one and only DJ Stevie G. Enjoy a plethora of kiddies entertainment from stilt walkers, magical roving Disney and Marvel characters, plate spinning, balloon tricks, colourful face painting, our annual “Scruffy Doo” fun dog show and a Pride market serving only the best of carnival food to give you the courage to face a round of air archery, a game of giant Twister or a bout in the giant Sumo wrestling suit ring!

    So why not join us and soak up that summer sun as we celebrate all things PRIDE!

    The Cork LGBT Wellbeing Evening

    From: 7:30-10:00pm at the Cork Gay Project

    Join us for an inspiring evening that celebrates and tackles all things which affect the wellbeing of the LGBT community! With a phenomenal line up of guest speakers broaching topics as diverse as we are! Featuring talks on addiction and violence within the LGBT community, sexual health with rapid HIV testing available on site, mental wellbeing, and a fantastic yoga class to get you warmed up for an evening of brave debate where we will shine a light on the hot topics that are currently facing our community.

    The Cork LGBT Pride Coming Out Event

    From: 7:00-9:30pm at Starbucks Opera Lane

    An evening where we would like to welcome new members to our community, share our stories and give insights and advice to those struggling with coming out, or having difficulties accepting their sexuality. An open evening where we would like to help you feel comfortable in your own skin and give you the power to be proud of who you are!

     

    The Peacock Parlour

    From: 8pm -11pm at The Poor Relation, 19 Parnell Place

    Bi Ireland, in association with the Cork Pride Festival present a night of Burlesque cabaret and entertainment with the inimitable Foxy P Cox and friends.

  • + WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 02nd

    ReCollective: The Cork Pride Art Expo Launch

    From: 7pm at St. Peters​, ​North Main Street

    ReCollective is an exhibition with four elements, by four artists, for four days, each with a different theme. The exhibition will feature submissions from Orla Egan, Stephen Doyle, Krzysiek Rosa, and Konrad Im, and is on show at St. Peters, North Main Street, Cork from Wednesday 2nd – Saturday 5th August from 10am – 5pm daily.

     

    The GAZE Film Festival Cinema Night

    From: 8:00-10:30pm at St. Peters​, ​North Main Street

    Fresh off the Indie Film Festival scene, join us for an evening of LGBT Irish Shorts, that reflect the lives, experiences, and circumstances of what it is to be gay in modern Ireland. An evening to immerse yourself in the magic of film and celebrate our diversity!

    Service of Thanksgiving and RemembranceFrom: 7:30 pm at St. Anne’s​, ​ShandonA chance for us to gather and reflect on the milestones that have been achieved for our community and to remember the brave souls who came before us and dedicated themselves to furthering our cause through tirelessly advocating for our rights and equality. An evening Service of Thanksgiving and Remembrance to commemorate those that gave us the courage and freedom to gather as a community and be proud of who we are. Our Voices, Then and NowFrom: 7:30pm - 9:30pm at the Cork Gay Project, 4 South TerraceTENI and The Cork Peer Support Group in association with the Cork Pride Festival present ​"Our Voices, Then and Now"In recent years, Trans voices have been very vocal, and more and more Trans people have been visible - but did you know that Trans people have been in Ireland for hundreds of years?Join us for an evening of sharing our history and our present.

    A community tribute evening celebrating the life and times of the legend and hero that was David John Roche​.

    Join Dave's friends, family, and colleagues for an evening of love and laughter, stories and song, honouring and celebrating our beloved Dave.

    LINC presents OUTrageous - women's club night​. DJ Andrea and live music. Male friends welcome as guests

    The Cork LGBT Pride Village

    From: 12 Noon-6pm at Bishop Lucey Park

    Make your PRIDE Saturday shine, and join us for a fabulous afternoon of community Pride fun and entertainment, with live music from stellar bands The Elation and The Velvet Duo, smooth slamming summer tunes by DJ Luke and an open invitation to the cork artistic and performance art community to exhibit  or perform their work on the day. Step up and let’s see if Cork has talent with the Red FM Karaoke set, see if we can put you through your paces with our ever entertaining "Gay Olympics" with our Stiletto Dash, Handbag Toss or Lipstick Relay, take a spin on the Giant Twister set, get in the Sumo Wrestling Ring or simply take a stroll through our PRIDE themed market and soak up the carnival atmosphere!

    The 12th Annual Cork Pride Parade

    From: 12 Noon-3pm at Grand Parade

    Calling one….Calling all! The time has come to shed the dull and the drab and slip into something bold and brazen as we take to the streets of Cork to celebrate who we are in a spectacular technicoloured show of love and PRIDE! March with us as we make the streets of Cork come alive with a sprawling mass of magical floats, giant inflatables, double decker buses, live bands and DJ’s …and much…much…more! So let your voice be heard…

    BE LOUD, BE PROUD… THIS IS YOUR DAY TO SHINE!

     

    The Official Pride After Party

    …Where the Parade ends…the Party starts!

    From: 3pm till 6pm on Grand Parade

    Push your PRIDE fever to new heights this year and join us for the ultimate PRIDE After Party with sweltering DJ sets and live bands at the Main Stage on the Grand Parade, sizzling food stalls at our Pride Market or kick back and relax in our chill out and family picnic area in Bishop Lucey Park! Let your love SHINE through this year!
